Formerly Thrusters Surf Compound, Que Nivel reopened under the current management in April of 2008. The rooms at Que Nivel underwent a full renovation to become the beauty you see today. The restaurant has a new menu, and the bar still strives to serve locals and visitors alike. Much like a phoenix rising from the fire, except there was no fire, so more like a normal bird getting up after a nap, assuming birds take naps, Que Nivel retains the original spirit of Thrusters, but with a prettier face and consistent grooming. Attractive, but approachable.
About Dominical
Located in the Southern Pacific Region of Costa Rica, Dominical began as a fishing village that ripened into a surf town, while managing to retain its individuality and pace of life. Laid back is an understatement. The roads in town are unpaved, dogs hang out in bars, and clothing is optional. Without avoiding cliches, there is something for everyone.
Getting Here
Dominical is easy to find on a map. Once you are in town, make a left onto the main road; we are after the police station on the left. If you drive into the ocean, you have gone too far. If you need help arranging travel to Que Nivel, drop us a line, we would be glad to help out.

Most likely, you are down here to surf. Whether you are a professional or out for the first time, we can set you up with surf tours, lessons, board rentals, equipment, repairs, and high fives. Let us know what you need.
Other Activities
In this area of Costa Rica, the mountains meet the ocean, so Que Nivel is minutes from zip lines, waterfalls, jungles, atv tours, tilapia farms, and empty beaches. We can offer suggestions or plan the whole trip.
